Senior citizens give back
LOVE’s kitchen in meridian received special visitors from the foster grandparents program which is housed in the multi-county community service agency. The volunteer program is made up of individuals 55 years old or older, and as the program director says; the group does a lot of good to the community. #LovesKitchen #MultiCounty

Meridian Little Theater gets into the spirit of giving
Meridian Little Theater got into the holiday spirit by giving back to those in need. The theater hosted a food drive for Love’s Kitchen during its show called “It’s a Wonderful Life.” “If patrons brought five canned goods, or five jellies, or five breakfast items, they received $5 off their ticket. Love’s Kitchen asking for Thanksgiving food items
Love’s Kitchen plans to serve up to 400 people on Thanksgiving Day and could use some help from the community. “We’re going to have the traditional meal that everyone gets at home. We’ll have turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce, macaroni and cheese, collard greens, rolls, and assorted desserts and drinks,” said Executive Director Fannie Johnson. Little Caesar's Donates to Love's Kitchen
The hungry at Love’s Kitchen got a different meal than normal today. Little Caesar’s in Meridian served slices of pepperoni pizza for lunch. Each year the local franchise donates pizza to various organizations in the community. “Little Caesar’s corporation, they have two trucks like this. They serve all over the United States and Canada.
