Voter registration drive at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church
Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church is holding a voter registration drive for the upcoming election. To get registered, you can call or stop by the church Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, or Sunday during morning worship.
“By voting we change decisions that are being made. We change those who make the decisions. So it’s imperative that everyone gets registered and that they vote,” said Engret Jenkins, the voter registration coordinator.
The deadline to register to vote in Mississippi is October 8th.
