Spring Break camp in Butler, Al.

It’s spring break in butler Alabama, and know kids have a day camp to attend, to keep them occupied.

The goal of the camp is to not only keep the children occupied, but to also, give parents a beak.

Erika Putman says, “We had employee’s children calling during spring break, saying hey I’m bored.”

The camp is centered around sports and physical activities, to keep the children busy.

Peyton Adams says, “if I wasn’t here today, I would just be at home playing my game.”

Jamos Davais says, “I would probably be sleeping right now, or babysitting my brothers, or on my phone.”

The spring breakers have an array of activities, throughout the day including, whiffle ball, ultimate Frisbee, archery, and painting.

Putman says, "They have a, physical activity, a craft, and an educational everyday.”

She goes on to say that, "All of our events are free because we want everyone to feel comfortable coming. We don’t want income to get in the way of a child having fun during spring break.”

The camp is free of charge and goes everyday this week. The camp will continue through Friday afternoon at the old national guard armory in Butler, Alabama.
