Ralph Morgan Rodeo returns to Lauderdale

The Ralph Morgan Rodeo is back in town and hundreds are expected to attend.
“Bareback riding, bronc riding, and there’s a record number of bull riders this year. All the timed events- wrestlers, tie-down ropers, team ropers, and ladies and the barrel racing,” said Mike Mathis, the rodeo announcer.
The rodeo has taken place in Lauderdale County for more than 40 years. Some pretty big talent will be here tonight and tomorrow to show off their cowboy skills.
“You talking about world champions who’ll be here. Some of the same cowboys you see competing in Las Vegas each year and livestock from Vegas, so the best of the best, even four-time rodeo clown of the year, Liesel Harris,” said Mathis.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the front gate of Ralph Morgan Arena. Show starts at 7:30 on both nights.
“The weather is going to be beautiful, nice and cool. Everyone can come and enjoy it and great food. It’s the opportunity for you and your family to come and have a great, great weekend,” said Mathis.
