AT&T presents grant to the Meridian Freedom Project
AT&T gave a generous donation to a local non-profit.

The AT&T Aspire Foundation awarded the Meridian Freedom Project a grant of $15,000 to support local programs that will provide low-income 9th through 11th-grade students with academic support, to bolster high school success.
Representatives say they are excited to promote a project that does so much to help kids.
“We are excited because we know that as these kids are going through the program over the years, that they will be prepared for life and they will be prepared for college. And this is the kind of thing that we like to lend financial support to from AT&T and the AT&T Foundation,” Said C.D. Smith with AT&T.
The Meridian Freedom Project aims to grow a corps of young leaders in the city, and the first group of students graduating from high school, in two years.
