2nd annual Meridian Day slated for this weekend
Some fun for the entire family; the second annual Meridian Day festival kicks off this Saturday on city hall lawn.
The free event will be full of games, music, and food.
“This is our community. We all need to pull together. We all need to say hey, this is my Meridian. Let’s come together, bring our lawn chairs, and have one big day where we can say we’re all united.” Said event coordinator Yolanda Edmonds.
There will be inflatables, pony rides, face painting, and a dunking booth.
Stage entertainment will include the Luv Undercover Band, Scott McQuaig & the Tomcats, and Fatback.
The event starts at 11 a.m. And ends at six.
