Arrest made in Newton shooting

A man is now facing felony charges after police say he shot a woman early yesterday morning.

Maurice Osborne, Sr. was arrested and is charged with aggravated domestic assault after authorities responded to the 300 block of little I-20 road in Lawrence, Miss. around seven a.m.

There they found Latrina Patrick with a gunshot wound to the head.

Patrick is currently in ICU at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Miss.

Currently no bond is set for Osborne.
