Qualifying deadline approaching for Lauderdale co. special election

If you’re thinking about running in Lauderdale county’s special election, the deadline to qualify is quickly approaching.

This November, the county is having a special election for two district two positions – a justice court judge and a constable.

Those interested in running must submit a petition signed by registered voters and a $100 qualifying fee by September 8th.

The special election is November 7th.
