Byrd guilty for armed robbery and credit card fraud; but no decision on murder

Shon Byrd who faced trial this week for the shooting death of meridian resident and world war two veteran Billy Putnam back in 2014.

Yesterday a Lauderdale county jury found Byrd guilty of armed robbery as well as credit card fraud. However, the jury could not come to a decision on the murder charge.
