Ribbon Cutting for the Opening of State Farm
“I’m just proud to be number one a Meridianite, returning home, to open up a business and to be able to share and take care of my community. The community I call home.”
Roshundia Sanford, the owner of the new State Farm Insurance Agency in Meridian, cut a ribbon, officially opening, her first, insurance agency.
“Today is the ribbon cutting of my agency. The Roshundia Sanford agency. We are located in downtown Meridian. 2207 8th street. Across from LaBiche jewelers and First State Bank.”
Roshundia Sanford is not only the first African American female agent in the area, but she is also the only female insurance agent in the area, and she is excited to open up her business in the heart of downtown Meridian.
“Anytime you open up a state farm agency, it’s a rigorous process that you go through. And, state farm is very particular and peculiar about who they choose as state farm agents. And, it’s an honor for me to have been chosen and selected. But, more importantly to be selected for an agency in my home town.”
She goes on to say that opening her new agency, is just the beginning of her accomplishments.
“My goal, and the goal of my team members is to become in the top 100 agents in the entire united states.”
