Fire at the MAEEX yesterday

Yesterday morning fire fighters from the Meridian Fire Department were called out to a fire located at the Mississippi Arts and Entertainment Experience after a tar kettle towards the rear of structure caught fire.

Fire officials say the damage was minimal and should not slow down construction or the April 2018 deadline.
