Voter registration deadline for special election quickly approaching

The deadline to register to vote in the upcoming special election is this Saturday. The circuit clerk’s office will be open regular business hours up until Friday and then from 8 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday. The special election for Lauderdale County’s District 2 Justice Court Judge and District 2 Constable is November 7th, with a possible runoff on November 28th. The two candidates running for each office are Ondray Harris, Sr. and Jesse Hill, Jr. for District 2 Justice Court Judge, and Ondray Harris, Jr. and Christopher McFarland for District 2 Constable.
