THE PEAK SEASON FOR CONTRACTING THE VIRUS IN MISSISSIPPI IS JULY THROUGH SEPTEMBER, ALTHOUGH CASES CAN OCCUR AT ANY TIME OF THE YEAR. • USE A MOSQUITO REPELLENT

  • REMOVE ALL SOURCES OF STANDING WATER TO PREVENT BREEDING.

  • WEAR LOOSE, LIGHT-COLORED, LONG CLOTHING.
