Lala Enterprises celebrate National Waffle Day
It's National Waffle Day… and Lala Enterprises and the Meridian Comfort Inn are celebrating by honoring a special youth organization in the community. Each year on the food holiday, Lala Enterprises, the owner of Comfort Inn, prepares delicious waffles for an organization that gives back.
“This year is it’s for the Boys and Girls Club of East Mississippi showing our appreciation on how much they do in the community with the children and how much Mr. Ricky Hood contributes to this community. Lala Enterprises as a whole just wanted to come together and show our appreciation," said Toya Dockery, director of operations for Lala Enterprises.
Staff and youth were treated to a carnival-themed event and a number of games, including a dunk booth. Last year, Lala Enterprises recognized law enforcement with an indoor breakfast.
