Rail to Reels film festival to premiere next weekend

Filmmakers are coming to meridian next weekend, to participate in the rails to reels film festival.

The 48 hour flash film festival will be at the temple theater next weekend and film makers and movie goers, will have the chance to make movies and enjoy them.

Ian Garner the production assistant says, "Next weekend we are going to have a 48 hour film festival. from October 19 to October 21st. we are going to have a whole lot of community made films from people right here in meridian. we are going to have a 10 minute flash film competition. starting at 7pm on October 19th to 7 pm on October 21st. participants have 48 hours to make their own 10 minute film. it has to be set in meridian. we have partnered with a whole lot of businesses around the community where you can use those places as backdrops. you should have a real fun time doing it."

The cost to enter is $35 for a weekend pass.
