On November the seventh, Lauderdale county will be having a special election for area voters.
The election comes as judge Robbie Robinson announced his early retirement just under a year ago leaving a vacancy in the courtroom.
Circuit clerk Donna Jill Johnson says, “Of our 42 precincts, only 15 precincts are eligible to vote in this particular election out of those 15 precinct locations, 5 of those locations, everybody can vote, but the other 10 is called split precincts, where some people can and some people can’t. you have 2 people running for justice court judge, you have two people running for constable.”
