MHA receives grant to help residents gain economic independence
The Meridian Housing Authority has received a grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to help affordable housing residents gain economic independence. The department awarded the housing authority approximately $430,000 to hire and retain service coordinators to assist residents in finding jobs and educational opportunities. The funds will assist with job training and placement programs, along with computer and financial literacy services.
