Man Charged with Stealing a Tractor

A Clarke County man has been charged with stealing a tractor after being spotted by a neighbor who watched him drive it down a county road.

The man, identified as Ben Needom, allegedly stole the tractor and was driving it to a different location when a resident recognized it as his neighbors. The man followed Needom and contacted authorities to report the incident. Needom then abandoned the tractor and disappeared into the wood where he was eventually located after an all-day manhunt. He is currently being charged with grand larceny with his bond set for Friday afternoon.
