Alcohol Referendum Approved in Clarke County
The people of Clarke County have spoken as voters have approved the sale of beer and liquor in two referendums.

In yesterday’s election, voters in East Mississippi had the opportunity to vote, to either keep Clarke County dry, or approve the sale of liquor. In two of the referendums, the sale of beer, light wine, or liquor was approved.
The new referendum should generate approximately three hundred thousand dollars in extra money for the county, each year.
