United Way hires new vice president

United Way here in meridian has hired a new vice president of resource development and communication. Channing Peebles has worked for the American cancer society and meridian main street, so she is no stranger to non-profit organizations. Peebles has been vice president of united way for a month now, and her main focus is on campaigning in hopes of reaching their goal from last year.
