Operation Christmas Child drop off week

Well it’s that time of year where the green and red shoeboxes are being shipped around the world.

Operation Christmas Child, which is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, has been collecting these shoe boxes throughout the community, and this week is drop off week.

These boxes go to children in countries all over the globe who are suffering from war, poverty, disease, and famine.

Anyone who has prepared one of these shoe boxes for a little girl or boy may drop them off at 15th Avenue Baptist Church in downtown Meridian from 8am to 12pm this week.
