Meridian high Reality Check program

Meridian high school ninth graders got to get a glimpse of what it's like to live in the financial world as an adult. The "Reality Check" program allows these ninth graders to be given different financial and life situations and apply them to managing finances. The situations assigned ranged from a college education with a good paying job to being a spouse with three kids and a low paying job. The students then walked around to different booths such as the super market and a car dealership to see what they could and could not afford.
