MPSD superintendent receives Patriot Award

Meridian Public School District's Superintendent Dr. Amy carter has received a prestigious award. Dr. Carter was nominated for the Patriot Award in which she received this morning. She did not know she was receiving the award, which made the moment that much sweeter. The Patriot Award is given to an employer who presents a strong support and recognition of the National Guard and Reserve force along with practicing leadership that supports employee participation in the guard and reserve.
