Shop Small Y'all

With it being Black Friday weekend, everyone is out looking for a good deal. The city of Meridian is taking an extra step in keeping those deals here at local businesses.

“It’s ‘Shop Small, Y’all’. So we want to encourage everybody to come downtown to visit our other local businesses in Meridian. There’s a lot of great Christmas specials, holiday specials going on, a lot of festive events tied into it. It’s really a fun, festive atmosphere, and it supports our community and those who live here.”

“Shop Small Y’all” or “Shop Local Saturday” will take place tomorrow all over the city with many great steals for those who may or may not have taken advantage of Black Friday.

“Shopping local is so important to our community from an economic standpoint. Any time you buy locally, it helps the taxes, it helps support our local businesses, and those people who live and work right here in our community that benefit from that support,” says Carmichael.
