House Fire

The Meridian Fire Department responded to a house fire early Sunday morning. Just after 1:00am, a fire engulfed a home on Hooper Street near 40th ave. The house was already up in flames when firefighters arrived, and within 30 minutes, they rapidly extinguished the fire. At the time of the incident, the home was empty, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
