The suspects involved in an armed robbery at the Toomsuba Dollar General Friday afternoon have been caught.
During the robbery, 2 suspects hit the store employee multiple times while demanding money. They eventually left on foot to an awaiting car at the railroad crossing at highway 11 and 80. Lauderdale County investigators now believe the two suspects are in custody in Alabama. The two men were arrested in connection to multiple robberies in Alabama. Chief Deputy Ward Calhoun says no local warrants have been issued yet because these men are part of a larger investigation involving multiple robberies in Alabama.
