Traffic Alert

Beginning Wednesday, commuters will see a change in direction through downtown Meridian on Front St.

With the continued construction on the Mississippi arts and entertainment center, drivers will have to detour as Front street, between 21st and 22nd avenues, will become one-way going west for about four weeks.

Local drivers will not be able to turn right onto Front street from 22nd avenue throughout that time as crews will be working diligently to make repairs and return the street back to two-way traffic as soon as possible.
