Meridian's Geoffrey's on list of Toy R Us closures

Retailer toys-r-us will be closing more than 180 stores in the coming months-- and the Meridian Geoffrey’s store is among them.

Toys R Us says the closures are set to begin next month and end in April.

No word when our location will close just yet.

The announcement comes after the company filed for bankruptcy protection in September.

Toys R Us says it's struggling to compete with big retailers like Amazon and Target.
