Kentucky Ham Meal

“We are having out Kentucky Ham Meal at First Christian Church today. It’s our 55th year. I want everybody to come out and get some scrambled eggs, grits, biscuits, red eye gravy, coffee,” says Diana Covington a church member.
At the Kentucky ham meal, eggs are fried, biscuits are buttered, and ham is sizzling as the community gets a home cooked meal, that helps serve various charities. She says, “We have this to service many places in the community. We also do 2 places out of town. We have all these volunteers that come in to help us and we give back to the community.”
And those volunteers consist of church members, boys ad girls club, community leaders and many more.
“We will be here till 1:30 today and we start up at dinner tonight from 5 to 7 and we will be here again tomorrow till 1:30”
