Neighborhood Enhancement Program

A new Neighborhood Enhancement Program in Meridian was approved by the city council on Tuesday.

This program will allow people to buy abandoned property within their community at a cheaper price to help remove neighborhood eyesores. The initiative only involves neglected areas that are currently being maintained by the city in hopes to make communities safer, cleaner and drug free. With more than 30 pieces of property that currently qualify for the program, you can get more information by contacting the City of Meridian's Community Development Department.
