Martin arrested for February incident

Tuesday an arrest was made for an incident that happened late last month.

According to Sgt Dareall Thompson of the Meridian police department, through a lead, officers were able to arrest 21-year-old Randarious Ramone Martin.

Thompson says Martin was charged with aggravated assault after shooting an unnamed individual in the leg. The incident occurred in the 4800 block of 26th street. Thompson says the victim and Martin were acquainted with one another.

Martin's bond has been set at a whopping 350-thousand-dollars.
