EMBDC hosts 2nd annual Home and Garden Show

The EMBDC decided for their second annual Home and Garden Show to bring in two special guests: Alana Barnett and Lex Lablanc from HGTV’s new show Listed Sisters.
“It’s basically a real estate and design show where we help our clients find new homes and then we fix them up to make them their perfect forever home. Alana takes care of the real estate, and I take care of the design. It’s all based in Nashville, Tennessee.” Lex Lablanc, Listed Sisters
The pair gave a lecture called the “No Demo Renno” in which they provided tips for those seeking to change up their homes without the mess of a demolition.
“One of my favorite things about fixing up homes for our clients is their reaction when they come in and see it all finished. It’s crazy what you can walk into and it looks like a mess, and I always see the end result and sometimes they can’t see it until they walk in and they’re like, ‘wow.’ Taking that stress off of their shoulders and letting us take care of everything for them and making it a seamless process.” -Alana Barnett, Listed Sisters
The theme within the Home and Garden Show invited change and new projects for those in the Meridian area to feed into. one meridian resident is excited about the change in Meridian, overall.
“I’m so proud to live in Meridian and to see all the new things, especially the entertainment center and the new Mississippi Children’s Museum coming in.” -Laurel Rigdon, Meridian resident
