EMBDC holds ribbon cutting for Ace Hardware

The EMBDC held a ribbon cutting for a new local business earlier today. Ace Hardware is now open for business in Broadmoor just off North Hills street. Folks from all around came out to celebrate and support this new store. Those in attendance were representatives of the EMBDC, along with Mayor Percy Bland. The owner is a Meridian native.

“Last night I had some out of town executives with Ace Hardware in town, and I took them downtown and was pointing out the Riley Center, the MAX, the Three Foot Building with what’s going on there, the children’s museum that’s coming, our restaurants, and I was thinking how this is a really exciting time to be in Meridian. They were making nothing but positive comments about Meridian as well.” -David Majure, Owner

Majure's father, 50 years ago to the month, opened his first business in Meridian, which was a Fred’s store.
