Eagle Scout serves at local church in Meridian.

Today, fourteen-year-old Austin Carle, spent his morning serving in the community, by doing a service to Central United Methodist Church; by cleaning up the playground area. Carle was not alone, and received some support from a local business . Window Genie joined Carle and was delighted to assist him in any way.

“Austin’s father Jimmy is a dear friend of mine, and asked me if our business would help donate our time, to help Austin complete his Eagle Scout project, and Eagle Scouts are so important, leaders in our community and Window Genie is super happy to help out.”

Carle says, his Eagle Scout mission was just too good of a service to turn down.

“I’m doing my Eagle Scout project, and we are cleaning up the equipment, and, we have extended the border to cover a root that was a tripping hazard. It’s a really great accomplishment. I've been working on this really hard for many years, and it’s really great to look back and see what all I’ve done to Boy Scouts.”

According to Carle, his service doesn’t stop today. There’s still more work that has to be done in the future.

“On Saturday, we will be putting a layer of mulch on top of the border, it will be right there on the church playground.”
