Update on Threefoot project

At the city council meeting this morning, the city council voted on the MDA being able to close out all of their financial deals with the Threefoot building project. Mayor Percy Bland says that now the city will begin to see a lot more construction on the Threefoot building in the upcoming weeks. According to the mayor, work on the inside has been going on in regard to asbestos and gutting out the inside. An elevator is soon to be placed on the outside next to the front door so that people can access different floors of the building until the internal elevator is fixed. Mayor Bland says the MDA had all of their financial plans approved at the end of July.
