The MAEX will host Maxi's Juke Joint.

The Mississippi Arts and Entertainment Experience will host "The Maxies Juke Joint Presents Alphonso Sanders" on Friday evening. Those who participate will get a feel for what a juke joint was like and get to experience some Jazz and Blues.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase; the event will start at 6 and will end at 9 -pm. The MAEX is located at 2155 Front Street in Meridian.

Tickets are $10 for members and $15 for non-members.
