Wesley House partnering with Cash Saver to help those in need during the holidays
With the holidays coming up, Meridian’s Wesley House is looking to help those in need. For the past several years, they have been partnering with Cash Saver to provide free meals in the community.
“This is something that Cash Saver has done for us for several years, and its just greatly received by the folks of this community. We appreciate their role in making this thing happen,” says Rev. David Shultz.

With every grocery haul at the store, they will add $5 to the bill which will go to preparing a bag of food. Schultz says non-perishable food can be donated to the Wesley House, along with monetary donations.

“We will be there on Saturday from 12 to 2, some of the Wesley House staff, you know, to help them promote and kick this off. So, we appreciate the folks at Cash Saver for helping us out.” -Shultz, Exec. Dir., Wesley House
According to the Wesley House, there has been growth in those in need. In January of 2017, they provided 83 food bags per month, and now they provide around 350 food bags per month.
