West Hill Elementary School students hear from veterans

Students at West Hill Elementary School learned why the observance of Veterans Day is important by having special guests from the Naval Air Station of Meridian.Samuel Shipley, Michael Ginley, and Lieutenant Bohayhood shared their military experience with students and explained why they love serving this country. They showed students why veterans should be thanked for their service and talked about what their job responsibilities are.All four servicemen had the day off today and chose to use their free time to come out and visit with the students.
