Wal-Mart looking to hire military spouses
Wal-Mart has now announced their new focus on hiring military spouses. In announcing this, they have become the largest U.S. company to make such a commitment.

There are more than 500,000 active duty military spouses nationwide, and military spouses face a twenty-six percent unemployment rate, along with a twenty-five percent wage gap compared to civilians.
In Mississippi alone, Wal-Mart has hired nearly 3,500 veterans, which is nearing their goal of hiring 250,000 veterans nationwide by 2020.
