West Lauderdale signs three baseball seniors to college teams

The Kingdom is now sending out three baseball players onto college teams. Three West Lauderdale Knights baseball seniors have signed the dotted line and are off to play college baseball.

Brandon Andreacchio has signed with East Mississippi Community College, Kameron Partridge has signed with Jones County Junior college, who is currently pitching at 88mph, and Ben Ethridge has signed with the University of Southern Mississippi, who is currently pitching at 89mph.

All three players have played under the legendary Coach Jerry Boatner who retired earlier this year.

"It's been a great experience with all of the coaches. Coach Boatner coached me over the years and taught me a lot of things. I grew up playing baseball most of my life, so I knew how to play it, but he taught me more and more about the game. Now, that I'm here, Coach Smith is going to be my coach, and it's going to be another great year,” says Ben Ethridge.

Coach Boatner retired after leading the Knights to 1,202 wins.
