Golden Egg Tour visits Meridian
With the Mississippi State Bulldogs taking the victory in this year's Egg Bowl on Thanksgiving, the athletic department has decided to celebrate with the fans in a new way. As part of the first-ever Golden Egg Tour, MSU’s mascot, Bully, and the Golden Egg trophy are traveling all across the state of Mississippi this week to meet and greet fans. While at New South Ford here in Meridian today, local fans made sure to get their pictures with Bully and get a chance to see the trophy.

“The fans are the most important thing to us. We have so much support throughout the year with people coming to all our games at home in Starkville, and people traveled to Oxford to the Egg Bowl this year. Its so important for us to give back to our fans, and one way we felt we could do that is taking the Egg Bowl city to city, neighborhood to neighborhood, business to business-- reaching as many people as we possibly can and give them the opportunity to get a picture with the Egg Bowl trophy.” -Daniel Watkins, Asst. Athletic Dir., Digital Media
