Mississippi Blood Services holds blood drive on Meridian Community College's campus.

Today, Mississippi Blood Services collected blood donations on The Meridian Community College campus.The blood drive started at 9 am this morning, and ended around three this afternoon. The blood drive is to help local hospitals in the area to have enough blood in the inventory for those in need.According to personnel with Mississippi Blood Services, there has been a shortage in blood donations.The blood drive saw around 28 donors participate.
