Local elementary school principal encourages the community to mentor students

Southeast Elementary School is working to bring in more community support for students to have local mentors to look up to.Southeast principal Ryan Powell is looking for ways to improve the school’s overall mentorship program at the elementary school. Mentors will have the opportunity to encourage students to do well in school and make good grades.Students also will get coached on good behavior and creating a future career plan after graduating from high school.
