The Meridian Family of Stations volunteer at Jeanie's Place playground.

The construction for Jeanie’s Place is just days away from the expected completion date which is set for Sunday.

Several volunteers from The Meridian Family of Stations spent today giving a helping hand, by shoveling, and helping where needed on the construction site of the future playground.They began volunteering around 12:30 this afternoon and stayed until 4:30 pm.Things are looking good so far while the construction continues.

“We’re just out here enjoying the day even though the rain has stopped thank goodness, we still have a lot of muddy boots and helping hands out here: You know Twin States News, we’re all about paying it forward, so we’re out here paying it forward to our community and trying to help get this playground up and working for a great cause.” Said Tracy Fryar General Sales Manager.
