Lauderdale County School District and Meridian Community College has 11th annual county wide musical

The Lauderdale County School District and Meridian Community College hosted their 11th annual county wide musical on M-C-C's campus.

Each year, M-C-C partners with The Lauderdale County School District to put on a theatrical play. This year, the chosen production was Peter Pan.Actors and singers ranging from grades 7th through 12th participated.

Students are also coached on lighting, stage props, and help behind the scenes.

“it’s a great story that has kids of all ages, so we’re able to get everyone in grades 7- 12th involved, it’s got a large cast, you have the lost boys, and the pirates, and the Native Americans all in there, so it’s kind of gave us a chance to have a huge cast." Brand also said "We double cast the show, so we’ve got roughly 65 students involved in the production plus some other students in the set crew." Said Todd Brand MCC’s fine arts chair.

Tickets are $10 for adults, and $5 for students. You can purchase tickets in Hardin Hall on campus.
