Northeast Middle School hosts talent show to get students involved

To raise money for a school club, some students at Northeast Middle School have teamed up to show their talents. The Alpha Club at Northeast Middle, which is for upper middle school students who have A and B averages, hosted a talent show for everyone at the school.

Students within the club showed off various talents such as singing and dancing, and some of the middle school teachers put on a dance for the students.

This talent show is to raise money for the club's end of the year field trip, but it's also a way for them to show all students that school, can be fun.

“You want kids to have fun at school so they can be active and want to come to school. Coming to school is not the funnest thing to do, but when you get them active, they’ll want to come to school more and hopefully learn too,” said Gavin Ricks who is the Vice President of the club.
