American Cancer Society Temporarily Postpones Relay for Life of Lauderdale Count

Meridian, Ms — Based on the CDC’s recommendations and the direction of our local community to encourage social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic, the local American Cancer Society family has made the difficult, yet important decision to temporarily postpone Relay For Life of Lauderdale County that was scheduled for April 24, 2020 at City Hall Lawn. The American Cancer Society’s top priority remains the health and safety of our volunteers, staff, and the cancer patients and their loved ones who rely on us. Information regarding a new date will be announced at a later time.

The American Cancer Society is grateful for all the dedication of our volunteers and appreciate the sacrifices they make to support our events. The COVID-19 situation remains uncertain and fluid and our goal is to respond in a way that best meets the health and safety needs of those who rely on us.
