Todd Tilghman Progresses in NBC's "The Voice" Competition

In Meridian, local pastor Todd Tilghman is singing his way to the top on NBC’s “The Voice”.

This Monday, on “The Voice’s” battle rounds, singing a duet of “Ghost in this House” by Shenandoah, Todd Tilghman competed against his teammate, Jon Mullins, --and coach, Blake Shelton named him the winner of the battle.

“I think there are probably some, like corners of the music world that I always loved, but I didn’t necessarily know, I could fit into personally, you know, and that coaches and the experience on the show so far –have taught me that I can do some things that I didn’t really expect to be able to really do, even vocally, I’ve been singing all these years and they’ve helped me with some things, even in that area”, said Todd Tilghman.

After winning his battle in the battle round, Todd will be seen next in the knockout rounds on NBC’s “The Voice”.
