Legally rooted medical cannabis dispensary opens its door today, and event goers and owners say they're excited about the possibility of the impact that it's going to have on its community.
WAYNE WILLIAMS: ¼ PARTNER/OWNER says "Well, this is a ribbon cutting of legally rooted cannabis dispensary Meridian's first and Lauderdale County and surrounding counties first medical cannabis dispensary. And we're proud to be making history for the area here today."
WAYNE WILLIAMS SAYS IT’S AN EXCITING NEW ADVENTURE, AND HE HAS BEEN BLOWN AWAY BY THE SUPPORT HE’S RECEIVED FROM LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND RESIDENTS THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS.
BRIAN DRISKILL: EMBDC VOLLUNTEER says "As a volunteer with the EMBDC and just a person of the community, we're happy to have any and all new businesses coming in. You know, I think that it's a great opportunity for people to start as entrepreneurs or continue multiple businesses."
