Lauderdale County School District holds Graduations for Students with Military Obligations
This past week, Lauderdale County School District held graduation ceremonies for military obligation graduates on each campus.
These ceremonies were for students who have been listed in different branches of the military and will not be able to attend their school graduation ceremony in late June.
“We just wanted to offer them a closing moment for their senior year and really provide that opportunity for them and their parents so they can have this for the rest of their lives,” Superintendent Dr. John-Mark Cain expressed. I commended the administration on setting this up and getting everybody involved and we really hope we’re doing something that these students and parents can be proud of.”
Congratulations to all the graduates. Most of them are scheduled to report to basic training very soon.
